Ft. Worth vacation-day 3

We started day 3 off with pedicures. That is Daddy Louis getting his feet done in the background. After our pedicures we went for a walk with Grandaddy and Gramma KK. That night the whole family came over for dinner & we took our "professional" 3rd consecutive 5th generation picture.

Ft. Worth vacation- day 2

Dad got us up early...he wasn't excited to visit. We visited a good friend from church, Pam Brandon, and then got to spend the rest of the day with Grammy Ray Ray and GramPam! They came all the way from Austin just to visit for a few hours. That night we went to our first high school football game where our cousin Jonathan is a Pep boy. It was homecoming so there were mums everywhere...for those of you who don't know I posted a picture of one. Texans don't take their high school football lightly.

Ft. Worth vacation-1st day

Savanah got to meet her VBFF2, Jessica, and it was Auntie Cindy's first time meeting Savanah too!! So much fun!

Ft. Worth vacation-1st day

One of the main reasons for traveling to Ft. Worth was to see Savanah's 99 yr old Great-great grandfather. It was extremely important to all of us to get this 3rd consecutive 5 generation picture taken. Bottom right-Savanah of course; holding her is Great-grandmommy; Great-great grandaddy Louis; Top right- Grandaddy; and then mommy. Gramma KK got to jump in FRONT of the camera with Savanah which is an unusual event.

Ft. Worth vacation-1st day

Savanah and I traveled to Ft. Worth over the weekend to visit my family and friends there. After being nervous about traveling with Savanah by myself for the first time, we arrived without a hitch. Savanah slept the entire trip all the way to her Great-Grandmommy's house to see her eldest great and great-great grandparents. There was lots of exitment at this house!

Our good friend, Brett, is an amazing photograper so after a weekend of housesitting for them up in the mountains, we shot some family portraits. Savanah was wonderful despite the nip in the cool, fall air.

We took our first fall hike in the changing Aspens. They were absolutely beautiful and Savanah seemed to love being out in the cool weather.

Friends

My friend, Brittany, from Texas came to meet Savanah and stayed for the weekend.
Our good friends, Brett, Kristin, & Molly live up in Idaho Springs and we get the privelage of seeing them often. Molly is 18 mos old and she's expecting a sister in January so we thought we'd give her some "baby practice" with Savanah! They're good friends already!
